Open Chair aims to connect you with dental care as quickly as possible. Because our dentists and clinics prepare immediately upon confirmation, the following cancellation terms apply:
If your booking has not yet been confirmed (the dentist and clinic have not yet accepted), you may cancel at any time for a full refund.
If you cancel more than 45 minutes before your scheduled appointment time, your cancellation is free and you will receive a full refund.
If you cancel within 45 minutes of your scheduled appointment time, a 50% cancellation fee applies. The remaining 50% will be refunded to your original payment method.
Once both you and your dentist have confirmed arrival at the clinic, cancellation retains the full fee (100%). No refund will be issued.
If your dentist or clinic cancels your appointment, you will receive a full refund and we will attempt to match you with another available provider.
If you do not arrive within 30 minutes of your scheduled appointment time without notice, the full fee is retained.
Emergency bookings (confirmed within 45 minutes of booking) are non-refundable once confirmed.
Refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
