OpenChair, Inc. (“OpenChair”) operates a transactional SMS/text-messaging program. When you provide your mobile number and opt in, OpenChair sends account- and booking-related text messages to help you use the dental care marketplace. This is a transactional program only — we do not send promotional or marketing text messages through it.
You opt in by providing your mobile phone number and affirmatively agreeing to receive text messages during account registration, booking, or in your account settings — by checking the SMS consent box next to your phone number. The box is unchecked by default; you must check it yourself. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
This is the exact opt-in control and language presented to you at the point of collection:

Message frequency varies based on your activity on the platform (for example, how often you book or update appointments). Messages are event-driven and sent only when there is a relevant update to your account or bookings.
OpenChair does not charge you for text messages, but message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Contact your wireless provider for details about your plan.
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you a confirmation message and then stop sending SMS messages. You may receive an additional message only if you later opt back in — for example, by replying START or re-enabling messaging in your account.
For help at any time, reply HELP to any message, or contact us at support@openchair247.com. Replying HELP returns our support contact information and a reminder of how to opt out.
Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and most other U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS/text-messaging consent (opt-in) with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are used solely to deliver the OpenChair messages you requested and are shared only with the messaging service providers (such as Twilio) that transmit those messages on our behalf under contract.
For full details on how we handle your information, see our Privacy Policy, our HIPAA Notice, and our Terms of Service.
